From €14k Meeting Library to Sales Intelligence Stack

We were paying for a €14k meeting library. With Claap, it became our sales intelligence stack.

Relesys builds frontline workforce engagement software for enterprise retailers, hospitality and logistics companies, some with more than 40,000 employees. The sales team was running real deals at real scale. Their conversation intelligence tool was not keeping up.

Forty-one licenses, almost nobody logging in

For three to four years, Relesys had paid for Avoma. Forty-one licenses. Mathias Hjelmsø, Sales Director for the Nordics, ran the post-mortem himself and kept finding the same pattern: meetings recorded, transcripts stored, and nobody going back in.

Three things had quietly killed adoption. The first was cost. Syncing structured call data into HubSpot sat behind an extra license upgrade, on top of fifteen already-premium seats. “You’ve got to be kidding me. If there’s one use case you’d want for conversation intelligence, it’s syncing to your CRM.”

The second was the interface. When an AE opened Avoma, everything arrived at once: playlists, tasks, scorecards, filters. They would open it, get lost, and drift back to HubSpot. “None of my people wants to go in here. It looks like I’m about to build a massive newsletter.”

The third was the piece Mathias actually needed. With a clear gap between booked meetings and closed deals, he wanted to know whether the problem was qualification, discovery or messaging. Without call scoring, he was guessing.

The workaround that caught the CEO’s eye

So he built his own. Mathias wired a custom Claude connector into Avoma so he could ask questions about his team’s meetings in plain language. It worked well enough that his CEO noticed. But it was one person’s hack, not something a team could rely on. The platform, he decided, should just do this.

Finding a tool the team would open

Relesys ran a proper review, Gong included. Their fractional RevOps lead, Tobias, introduced Mathias to Pierre at Claap. Three things closed it: an interface simple enough that AEs would actually open it, HubSpot property enrichment included by default instead of sold as an add-on, and a native MCP, so the Claude workflow he had hand-built now came standard.

“That is exactly what we need. I have a CEO who has forced me to use Claude for everything.”

How the team works now

Every online meeting is captured automatically across Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, and the mobile app now covers the face-to-face enterprise meetings that used to go unrecorded. Discovery calls are scored against SPICED, so an AE sees their own score the moment a call ends while Mathias reads a team-wide view without watching a single recording end to end. Deals are reviewed with MEDDPIC pulled together across every meeting, and pipeline reviews run wherever he prefers, in Claap or in HubSpot. Nordic-language calls are transcribed and auto-translated to English for cross-region management, and Claap’s native MCP has quietly replaced the homemade Avoma bridge.

Three weeks to replace three years

Relesys signed in twenty-one days, from the first call on May 5 to close on May 26, 2026. They committed for two years, with Claap buying out the six months left on their Avoma contract, and landed on roughly thirty-five seats: fifteen Business for the AEs and around twenty Pro for CS. The total came in below the Avoma contract it replaced.

“I basically want them to be able to review their own meetings and get a score. Feel engaged. Gamified. ‘Oh, I got a two this time on discovery, why did I do that?’”
