Good to know
Every call returns up to 100 results (10 by default) and pages with a cursor, so an agent can read a whole view rather than sample it. Claap MCP only ever returns what you can already see in Claap. Private spaces stay private.

Your agent doesn't only answer questions about your workspace. It can set the workspace up, in plain language, without you opening a settings screen.
Ask for a SPICED view, or an AI field that scores every discovery call on budget, and Claap creates it. The scoring then runs once per recording, the same way every time, and your agent reads those values instead of re-deriving them under time pressure.
Create and update contacts, companies and deals from the conversation, with the same fields and validation the app uses. Stage, type and owner ids are discoverable, so an agent resolves the right one before it writes.
Create and edit admin automations too: which folder a new recording lands in, which template runs on it, which team sees it. The setup work nobody gets round to, done by asking for it.
A change your agent makes is a change you could have made in the app, under your permissions, logged against your account. Admins can turn Claap MCP off per workspace at any time.

Setup
If you already use Claude or ChatGPT, you already know how to use Claap MCP.
Step 1
Add Claap MCP's endpoint to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, n8n, or any MCP-compatible client.
Step 2
Sign in via OAuth (default) or a workspace API key. Your data stays scoped to what you can already see in Claap.
Step 3
Your client detects and registers the full Claap toolset: recordings, transcripts, emails, CRM objects, views and publishing.
Step 4
Query deals, calls, reps and objections in plain language. No SQL, no exports, no dashboards.
Permission model
Nothing leaks. Claap MCP reads and writes only what you could read and write yourself in Claap, and every call ties back to you.
If a recording is hidden from you in Claap, it stays hidden from your agent. Same for deals, contacts and companies. Writes run as you too, so your agent can only change what you could change yourself.
Only recordings visible to workspace members and indexed in global search are queryable. Private spaces and personal recordings stay out.
Human clients (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) authenticate via OAuth. Automations (n8n, cron jobs) use a workspace API key scoped to the same permissions.
Admins enable Claap MCP per workspace, and every tool call ties back to the authenticated user, fully auditable.
