What is MindTickle?

MindTickle is a revenue intelligence tool. And I think it’s where we should start. Because I’m not sure you know what it is. And even if you do, a little reminder never hurts!

What is a revenue intelligence software?

A revenue intelligence software is a tool that uses AI to analyze sales and customer data. It helps the company understand trends, predict outcomes, and suggest actions to enhance revenue generation. This software empowers sales teams by offering insights and automating processes for better decision-making and improved sales performance.

What are the key features of MindTickle?

MindTickle is a revenue intelligence software that integrates conversation intelligence capabilities (i.e. the ability to analyze your conversations with clients and give you insights based on that). Here are the main features of MindTickle

  • Transcription and recording: MindTickle records and transcribes your calls to make sure you don’t miss anything!
  • Conversation analysis: MindTickle is equipped with advanced conversation intelligence features, allowing you to identify buying signals, topics, themes, and deal risks effortlessly.
  • Training/Coaching: MindTickle can be used as a training platform, as you can set up training modules for your sales reps. It also gives a real-time view on their progress. But what makes it different from the other video training platforms is the AI-powered role play feature where your sales reps can master pitches and demos in a safe place!
  • Digital Sales Rooms: MindTickle provides Digital Sales Rooms. They help you  share deal-related content easily to the buyer, but also track the deal progress and have a view on key metrics throughout the process!

How much does it cost?

MindTickle doesn’t offer regular plans. You’ll need to book a demo and explain the needs of your team to get a suitable solution with a personalized price. Or you can explore other alternatives… And I’ll help you with that!

The best alternative: Claap

When you look at a tool, you look at every one of its characteristics. And it obviously includes the price of the tool. That’s why I think Claap is the best alternative you could find. Why? Because it offers similar features (even better features on certain aspects) while being super cheap. But let’s dive deeper into Claap’s features.

Claap’s key benefits

  • Top transcription capabilities: Just like MindTickle, Claap records and transcribes your meetings. But Claap is compatible with 100+ languages and has great transcription accuracy!
  • AI smart summaries: Don’t settle for a basic transcription. With Claap, you get AI smart summaries that analyze your transcript and highlight key takeaways!
  • Video library: Claap acts as a video archiver as you can find a past meeting using a word pronounced during it!
  • Sharing Platform: Claap gives access to workspaces where you can share your videos (your meeting recordings for instance) to anybody. Then people can interact with your content: leave reactions, ask questions…  This way, you can totally use Claap as a training platform if you want!
  • Competitive pricing: I mentioned it previously, but one of the main advantages  of Claap is its top price-quality ratio! You can benefit from almost all the features mentioned for $10/month only!

Claap’s limitations

  • Limited conversation analysis capabilities: Compared to MindTickle, Claap is quite limited when it comes to conversation analysis. For instance, it can’t analyze the tone or the feelings of your interlocutor.
  • Compatibility: Claap’s desktop app is currently only available on Mac. Windows is on the way.

Claap’s pricing

  • Basic: Free with an upload limit of 10 videos.
  • Starter: $10/month per user with unlimited videos upload/storage.
  • Pro: $30/month per user with access to AI features.
  • Enterprise: Custom

Claap is a very cheap option. But if you still want to test it out before subscribing to a paid plan, you can totally do it as Claap offers a 14-day free trial!

Gong: the most advanced conversation intelligence tool

Pros

  • Transcription and recording
  • Advanced conversation intelligence capabilities: If you’re seeking top-tier conversation intelligence features to comprehend the most intricate nuances of your interactions, Gong might be the optimal choice. Gong analyzes your conversations utilizing sentiment analysis, tone analysis, and advanced linguistic processing to provide comprehensive insights and understanding.
  • Real-time conversation intelligence: Gong is not only a conversation intelligence tool. It is a real-time conversation intelligence tool. It doesn’t only give you a complete synthesis of your call afterwards but during it! You can use Gong advice to adapt your speech during your calls and boost your conversion rate!
  • External analysis: Gong provides a comprehensive analysis of your data by integrating external data (for instance market information).

Cons

  • Transcription issues: Gong’s transcriptions have been reported by several users as slow to load and sometimes inaccurate. Nothing beats Claap when it comes to transcription capabilities!
  • Price barrier: Everybody agrees on saying that Gong’s capabilities are formidable. But it has a price which can be prohibitive for some.

Pricing

Just like MindTickle, Gong doesn’t have pre-defined plans. Prices are on demand and depend on your specific needs. And it’s costly: on average, a company using Gong pays $1,600 per user per year (for a company with less than 50 employees).

Panopto: The best video training option

If you’re interested in the video training platform aspect of MindTickle, you might like Panopto. Panopto is a comprehensive video training platform that helps you create and share training videos for businesses but also schools!

Pros

  • Large integration with other video platforms: Panopto is compatible with most of the main video meeting platforms, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or even Youtube, enabling you to easily share training videos recorded on other platforms.
  • White label streaming and branding customization: Panopto allows you to personalize your training platform to your company’s identity

Cons

  • No transcription option: Panopto is the only tool of this list that doesn’t have transcription abilities. If you need to transcribe meetings, Panopto might not be the best option available for you.
  • Limited collaboration features: While the videos are organized in workspaces, Panopto does not offer any collaboration features to interact with the content like Claap. It is an important con for a video training platform.
  • Complex interface: Navigating through Panopto's interface can be challenging, particularly for new users as it lacks user-friendly design elements.

Price
