Article overview

  • The main Sybill alternatives in 2026 are Claap, Gong, Avoma, Attention, Modjo and Momentum, plus Fathom and Fireflies as lighter notetakers. They differ most on three things Sybill buyers ask about: how many CRM fields get filled, whether AI agents can write back through MCP, and where call data is stored.
  • Sybill is an AI sales assistant, not a forecasting platform. It writes meeting summaries, follow-up emails and pre-meeting briefs, fills CRM fields after calls and answers deal questions through Ask Sybill. It was founded in 2020 in Mountain View, California.
  • Sybill publishes its prices. Free plan, Pro at $30 and Business at $90 per user per month billed annually ($36 and $108 monthly), Enterprise on quote. CRM autofill, the API and the MCP server start on Business.
  • Sybill's CRM autofill is capped at 10 fields on Business. Unlimited fields and SSO need the Enterprise plan.
  • Sybill's MCP server is read-only. Its documented tools ask, list and get conversations, deals and accounts. None of them writes to the CRM.
  • Sybill hosts its data in the US. Its help center says its infrastructure and data storage run on AWS servers in the US. Claap and Modjo host in the EU.
  • Sybill's bot-free recorder needs a recent Mac. The Invisible Recorder is a desktop app that currently requires a Mac with Apple Silicon. On other machines, a bot joins the call.

Sales reps spend 70% of their time on non-selling tasks, according to Salesforce's State of Sales survey of 5,500 sales professionals (Salesforce, July 2024). That is the problem Sybill sells against: notes, follow-up emails and CRM updates done for the rep. Most tools in this list now promise the same thing, so the useful comparison is in the details: how many CRM fields each plan fills, whether your AI assistant can act on the data or only read it, which machines can record without a bot, and which country your recordings live in. This guide compares 8 Sybill alternatives on those points, with prices and G2 ratings checked on 6 October 2026, and shares what a buyer comparing Sybill with Claap told us.

What Sybill is, in 2026

Sybill calls itself an "AI Sales Assistant for Revenue Teams". Its pitch on sybill.ai: it "automates busywork like CRM updates, email follow-ups, proposals, and collateral, and learns from past deals". Here is what that covers, checked on Sybill's site and help center on 6 October 2026:

  • Execution: pre-meeting briefs, meeting and deal summaries (Magic Summaries), follow-up emails, CRM autofill, AI tasks, decks and dashboards.
  • Intelligence: Ask Sybill (questions in plain English, answers with citations), deal inspection, coaching and performance, competitor intelligence, sales plays.
  • Capture: Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and Webex; dialers including Aircall, Dialpad, Nooks, Outreach, RingCentral, Zoom Phone and HubSpot; Gmail and Outlook; a mobile app for in-person meetings.
  • CRMs: HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Dynamics, Pipedrive and NetSuite.
  • Languages: 100+.
  • Company: founded 2020 in Mountain View by Gorish Aggarwal (CEO), Nishit Asnani, Soumyarka Mondal and Mehak Aggarwal. Sybill raised an $11 million Series A led by Greycroft in July 2024, $14.5 million in total (TechCrunch). We found no later round.

Sybill does not sell a roll-up forecasting module: forecasting appears in its marketing copy and as a question you can ask Ask Sybill, not as a forecast product like Gong Forecast or Clari.

A note on spelling: "Sibyl AI" is a common misspelling. Most products actually named Sibyl AI are unrelated to sales. The sales assistant is Sybill, at sybill.ai.

How much Sybill costs in 2026

Sybill publishes its pricing at sybill.ai/pricing. Read on 6 October 2026:

PlanAnnual billingMonthly billingWhat it adds
Free$0$0500 AI credits a week, unlimited recordings, Invisible Recorder, summaries and briefs on 20 meetings a month, 3 months of storage
Pro$30 per user/month$362,500 credits a week, unlimited storage, meeting summaries pushed to the CRM
Business$90 per user/month$1085,000 credits a week, CRM autofill (10 fields), API and MCP access, deal workspace, two-way Slack and Teams
EnterpriseOn quoteOn quoteUnlimited credits and CRM autofill fields, SSO, data migration support

Three things to check before you buy:

  • The field cap. CRM autofill, the feature most Sybill buyers come for, starts on Business and fills up to 10 fields. If your process tracks more (MEDDPICC alone has 8 letters, before next steps, competitor and budget), you are looking at Enterprise.
  • Credits. Ask Sybill threads, pipeline analysis, deck and dashboard creation, API calls and task execution consume credits on every plan. Summaries, briefs, follow-ups and autofill do not.
  • A 14-day Business trial is available without a credit card, which is the honest way to test the autofill on your own deals.

A worked example for a 20-rep team on the plan that fills the CRM, per year (list prices, annual billing):

ToolCalculationTotal per year
Sybill Business20 × $90 × 12$21,600
Claap Business20 × €48 × 12€11,520
Avoma Organization + Conversation Intelligence add-on20 × ($24 + $29) × 12$12,720
Momentum Business20 × $69 × 12$16,560

Sybill, Avoma and Momentum bill in US dollars, Claap in euros, so compare at the exchange rate of the day. Each figure is the vendor's published list price on 6 October 2026, before any discount.

What a Sybill buyer told us

Claap is a conversation intelligence tool, so we record our own sales calls. Sybill rarely comes up in them: in Claap deals from Q2 and Q3 2026 where the buyer's evaluated competitors were recorded, none listed Sybill, against 45% for Modjo and 30% for Gong. Our pipeline leans toward European teams, and Sybill sells mostly in the US, so that tells you about our market more than about Sybill's.

One buyer did compare Sybill with Claap and Avoma in September 2026: the GTM operations director of a US B2B data company with about 25 sellers, moving off [their previous call platform]. What he said is worth hearing because it cuts both ways:

  • On the shortlist: "I think all three are different flavors. That was hard to make a choice on."
  • On the difference: Claap is "extremely MCP centric, uh, AI centric, which is what we like. But it's also more of a Swiss Army knife. Which means that you kind of have to build your own thing for now [...] versus the other ones are a bit more prescriptive in certain things like the coaching and [...] scorecards."
  • On the category: "they are unique versions of an approach to [their previous call platform]."

That is a fair summary of the trade-off. Sybill and Avoma ship more opinionated coaching and summaries out of the box. Claap gives you fields, scorecards and an MCP your own AI assistant can act on, which takes a little more setup.

Methodology and limits: one buyer account mentioned Sybill on a recorded call between October 2025 and September 2026, so we share his words, not percentages. Deal shares come from Claap's Q2 and Q3 2026 deals with recorded competitor evaluations; the account quoted above did not list Sybill in that field, so Sybill is likely undercounted. The quote is anonymized and the other vendor he named is replaced with a description in brackets.

The 8 best Sybill alternatives in 2026

1. Claap

Best for: sales teams of 5 to 100 reps that want their call data hosted in the EU, CRM fields filled from every call, and AI agents that can update the CRM, not only read it.

Overview. Claap is a conversation intelligence platform by lemlist. It records video calls without a bot, from a Chrome extension on Windows or Mac or from the Mac desktop app, plus phone calls from dialers such as Aircall and Ringover, and emails. Each call fills the AI fields you define (budget, decision-maker, competitor, next step), per meeting, deal and account, synced to HubSpot or Salesforce, and a new field also runs on past calls. Calls are scored against your framework (SPICED, MEDDIC or your own). Claap's MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT read your calls and write back: create a field and its view, or update a deal's stage, owner and amount in HubSpot. Claap is hosted in the EU, GDPR compliant, SOC 2 Type II certified and transcribes 99+ languages.

Pricing. Free Basic plan, which includes the MCP. Pro is €24 per seat per month billed annually (€30 monthly). Business is €48 per seat per month billed annually (€60 monthly) and adds CRM auto-complete, AI-generated emails, AI coaching, deal insights and ClaapAgent across all meetings. Enterprise is priced on quote and adds SSO, SCIM and migration support.

Pros

  • EU hosting, GDPR, SOC 2 Type II and no training on your calls
  • MCP that reads and writes, on every plan including free
  • Bot-free recording on Windows or Mac

Cons

  • Less prescriptive out of the box than Sybill: you define the fields and scorecards your team needs
  • Deal forecasting from calls is on the Enterprise plan only

When you should stay on Sybill

Sybill is a well-reviewed product (4.8 on G2 from 150 reviews), and for some teams it is the right fit. Stay on Sybill if:

  • Your reps want a ready-made assistant more than a data layer. Pre-meeting briefs, follow-up emails, summaries and a deal workspace work out of the box, with less setup than a tool where you define your own fields.
  • Your team is in the US and on recent Macs. US hosting is not a constraint for you, and the Invisible Recorder covers bot-free recording.
  • Ten CRM fields cover your process, or you are on Enterprise already.
  • You use one of Sybill's long tail of dialers, such as Nooks or Dialpad, and want calls from it in the same place.

How to choose the right Sybill alternative

  1. Count your CRM fields. List the fields you want filled after every call. If it is more than 10, compare Sybill Enterprise with tools that fill the fields you define on a published plan.
  2. Decide what your AI assistant should be allowed to do. If you want Claude or ChatGPT to update deals, not only answer questions, check that the MCP server can write and on which plan.
  3. Check where recordings are stored. For European teams, ask for the hosting region, the subprocessors that handle transcription and a DPA before the trial, not after.
  4. Check bot-free recording on your team's machines. If part of the team is on Windows, test it there.
  5. Run 10 real calls through your top two tools and compare what lands in HubSpot or Salesforce, field by field.
  6. Price the plan you will actually use. The plan that fills the CRM is the one to compare, not the entry price.

How we built this comparison

  • Vendor facts (pricing, plans, recording, MCP, hosting) come from each vendor's own website, help center and documentation, checked on 6 October 2026. Gong's contract figure is Vendr's third-party median, labelled as such.
  • G2 ratings were read on g2.com on 6 October 2026.
  • Buyer data comes from Claap sales calls (October 2025 to September 2026) where an external buyer mentioned Sybill, and from Claap deals in Q2 and Q3 2026 with recorded competitor evaluations. Only the buyer's own words were quoted.
  • Conflict of interest: Claap is one of the tools in this list. We have tried to state Claap's limitations as plainly as those of other tools, including that Sybill is more prescriptive out of the box. If you spot an error about any vendor, write to us and we will correct it.

How much does Sybill cost?

Sybill has a free plan, Pro at $30 and Business at $90 per user per month billed annually ($36 and $108 monthly), and Enterprise on quote. CRM autofill, the API and the MCP server start on Business, which fills up to 10 CRM fields. Prices checked on sybill.ai on 6 October 2026.

Does Sybill join calls as a bot?

It can do both. Sybill's Invisible Recorder is a desktop app that records without a bot, and Sybill's help center says it currently needs a Mac with Apple Silicon. Otherwise Sybill's bot joins the meeting. Claap records without a bot from a Chrome extension on Windows or Mac, or from its Mac desktop app.
