How does Claap get my emails?
Through your CRM connection. Connect your CRM, turn on Email Sync and connect your mailbox, and Claap pulls in the emails you exchange with your contacts. After setup, recent contact emails come in automatically.
Which emails get captured?
Only the ones that match a deal in your CRM. Claap reads the participants on the thread, matches them to CRM contacts and puts the email on the related deal, alongside the meetings and calls in one timeline. Anything it cannot tie to a deal is dropped and never stored, and private subjects, no-reply and automated senders, calendar invites and anything over 50 recipients are filtered out too.
Do the emails change what Claap AI can answer?
Yes, and that is the point. Captured emails feed Claap AI, so a question like what is the status of this deal, or what did we commit to, is answered from the whole conversation rather than the calls alone.
