How does Claap record a dialer call?
Every plan records through the Chrome extension and audio capture, and Pro adds the desktop app and unlimited recordings. Audio capture is what covers calls placed through a dialer, so they're recorded the same way a video meeting is.
Which dialers are covered?
Aircall, lemlist VoIP, Ringover and Allo are native integrations, included from Pro. Calls placed from any other dialer are picked up by audio capture, which is part of recording on every plan. Aircall calls are imported when automatic recording is on for the number, and Ringover needs a Ringover Business or Advanced account. If you need a specific stack confirmed, ask on a demo.
Is transcription different for phone calls?
No. Phone calls get the same transcription in 99+ languages, automatic chapters and topics, and AI summary as any other recording, with 1,000 transcription minutes a month on Pro and unlimited from Business.
Do phone calls update the CRM?
