Pipeline

Each rep’s deals, read from their calls and emails

  • The deal summary covers context, progress, decision and the main risk, and flags “timeline unclear” when it was never discussed.
  • The activity timeline plots each deal’s calls and emails by day, so stalled deals stand out.
  • Save views like “Deals closing this quarter” per owner, and sort by deal age to find the ones going quiet.

Sales team management software, answered

What is sales team management software?

Software a sales manager uses to track how each rep performs and decide where to step in: activity, pipeline, call quality and coaching. Most teams track activity and pipeline in their CRM. Claap adds what happened on each rep’s calls, scored on the team’s own criteria.

How is Claap different from tracking reps in a CRM?

A CRM records how many calls, emails and deals each rep has. Claap reads those calls and emails: it scores each call on your criteria, compares talk habits with the team average and summarises each deal from what the buyer said. It writes back into HubSpot or Salesforce, so your CRM stays the system of record.

Which metrics can I track for each rep?

Scores on each criterion you set, month by month. Meeting volume per week, time in meetings and average meeting length. Talk-to-listen ratio, longest monologue, longest customer story, interactivity and question rate, each against the team average. In the Deals view, each owner’s deals with stage, amount, close date, deal age and summary.

Which calls count in the Analytics report?

Customer calls recorded through a meeting integration such as Zoom, Google Meet or Teams, with a finished transcript and at least one external participant, hosted by an active user with a Business licence who spoke on the call. Internal meetings and manual uploads are left out, so the averages reflect real sales conversations.

Can a manager track only their own team?

Yes. Admins group reps into Teams and share folders with a whole team at one permission level. The Analytics report filters by person, company, folder, label or date, and the Deals view filters by owner, so each manager can save a view of their own reps.

Does Claap handle quotas, commissions or territories?

No. Claap does not set quotas, calculate commissions or plan territories, and it does not replace your CRM. Those stay in your CRM or a sales performance management tool. Claap syncs with HubSpot and Salesforce natively, and with Attio and Pipedrive on Business and Enterprise.

Can I track field sales reps on the road?

Claap does not track location or visits. Reps who meet customers in person record the meeting from the Claap mobile app, on iOS and Android, and it lands in Claap with its transcript like any other call.

Which plan do I need?

Business, at $60 per seat per month billed yearly, or Enterprise. Business includes AI coaching, deal insights and the Deals view, and the Analytics report counts calls hosted by Business licences. People who only watch calls can use a free Basic licence.

What is the best software to track sales reps?

Most teams combine two kinds of tool. A CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive tracks pipeline and activity. A call tool such as Claap or Gong shows how each rep’s calls went and what to coach. Our comparison of sales tracking software reviews seven tools side by side.
