Every deal

An AI status on every deal in your forecast

  • The AI deal summary covers context, progress, decision process and the main risk, so nobody replays three calls.
  • When the activity is silent, the summary says so: “timeline unclear”, “decision process not confirmed”, “stakeholder not identified”.
  • Group deals in a Kanban by AI status and review the ones that need action first.

Evidence

Forecast questions answered on every deal, with the buyer’s words

  • Economic buyer confirmed? Decision date stated? Competitor in play? Each deal gets a typed answer you can filter and sort.
  • Add a field that quotes the buyer for each answer, so a manager checks the evidence before the forecast call.
  • A field that found nothing shows a dash, so a gap in the deal reads as a gap.

CRM

Answers written into the CRM your forecast runs on

  • Link each AI field to a HubSpot property or a Salesforce field, and the answer syncs as a typed value.
  • Choose per field: fill only if empty, append or overwrite, so you decide whether a rep’s value stays.
  • Move a deal on the Kanban board and its stage updates in HubSpot or Salesforce; export any view as CSV.

Heard on our calls

What sales leaders say about their forecast

  1. Deals slip on the forecast call

Inevitably on the call, someone’s like, oh, that should have moved out to next quarter.

    What Claap does

Claap writes each deal’s risk from its calls, before that meeting.

  2. Confidence should come from the call

Based on what happened on this call, you should not be confident in this closing this quarter.

    How AI fields work
“Zero clicks for the reps, and Salesforce still fills itself. My sales team finally gets the deal context instead of a half-filled form.”

AI sales forecasting, answered

What is AI sales forecasting?

AI sales forecasting uses AI to estimate which deals will close, when and for how much, from CRM data, pipeline history and what buyers said on calls and in emails. Claap covers the conversation side: it reads every deal and writes the risk, next step and decision process into your CRM.

Can you use AI to do your sales forecasting?

Yes, in two places. Forecast tools and CRMs use AI on pipeline history to project the number. AI that reads calls and emails checks each deal behind that number: is the decision-maker involved, is the date real, what is the risk. Claap does the second, inside the CRM forecast you already run.

Does Claap calculate the forecast number?

No. Claap does not compute a forecast roll-up, a commit, a weighted pipeline or quota attainment. It reads each deal from its calls and emails, flags risks and missing decision-makers, and writes those answers into HubSpot or Salesforce, where your forecast is built. Deal views can also be exported as CSV.

What is the best AI tool for sales forecasting?

It depends on what is missing. HubSpot and Salesforce forecast inside the CRM, and Clari (now part of Salesloft) or Gong add a forecasting layer on top. If the deals feeding any of them carry empty or optimistic fields, start with the evidence from each call written onto each deal, which is what Claap does.

How does Claap decide a deal is at risk?

The AI deal summary is built from the deal’s CRM properties, transcripts, recordings and emails, and names the main blocker: an unclear timeline, a missing stakeholder, budget, a competitor or low engagement. The activity timeline shows deals that went quiet. When the conversations say nothing, the summary says so.

Can I trust an AI risk flag on a deal?

Check it. Each AI field can quote the buyer’s words behind its answer, a field that found nothing shows a dash, and the deal summary can be edited from the deal drawer. Test a field on a few deals before rolling it out to the whole pipeline.

Which plan do I need?

The Deals view, with deal summaries and AI status, comes with Business licences, at $60 per seat per month billed yearly, and with Enterprise. AI fields run on your workspace’s monthly AI credits, one credit per field run. Testing a field is free.

Which CRMs does Claap work with?

HubSpot and Salesforce natively, plus Attio and Pipedrive on Business and Enterprise. Claap writes typed values into the properties you link, with a sync mode per field. Moving a deal’s stage on the Kanban board syncs back to HubSpot or Salesforce.
