Use cases

More than answers. Agents that do the work.

Set Claude or ChatGPT loose on your Claap data — pipeline reviews, deal recaps, competitor digests, call prep, follow-up drafts. Ask a quick question, or let an agent run the whole workflow.

Setup

Four steps, two minutes.

If you already use Claude or ChatGPT, you already know how to use Claap MCP.

Step 1

Configure

Add Claap's MCP endpoint to your AI tool.

Step 2

Authenticate

Sign in with OAuth or your workspace API key.

Step 3

Install

The 5 Claap MCP tools register automatically.

Step 4

Ask

Query deals, calls, and objections in plain language.

Permission model

Your agent inherits your Claap permissions.

Nothing leaks. The MCP is a permissioned window into the data you can already see, not a back door.

Scoped to what you can already see

Hidden in Claap stays hidden from your agent — recordings, deals, contacts, companies.

Recordings must be in global search

Only recordings indexed in global search are queryable. Private spaces stay out.

OAuth by default, API key for automations

OAuth for human agents, workspace API key for automations.

Admin-controlled rollout

Admins enable per workspace. Every tool call ties back to the user.

What it can access

Five tools, every signal in your Claap.

Claap labels objections, pain points, feature requests, and competitor mentions on every call. So your AI gets clean answers, not raw transcripts to wade through.

FAQ

Claap MCP, answered.

Everything you need to know about connecting Claap to Claude, ChatGPT, and your AI stack.

What is Claap MCP?
Claap MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects your Claap call data — recordings, transcripts, deals, contacts, and companies — to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any other MCP-compatible AI tool. Instead of watching calls back or pasting transcripts into a prompt, you ask about any deal, call, or objection in plain language and get an answer pulled straight from your recordings. Every call is pre-labelled with objections, pain points, feature requests, and competitor mentions, so your AI retrieves structured sales context instead of raw text.
How do I connect Claap to Claude?
Open Claude's connector (MCP) settings, add the Claap MCP endpoint, and sign in with OAuth — no API keys or code required. Claude detects and registers the five Claap MCP tools automatically, usually in under two minutes. From there, ask Claude about any deal, call, or objection in plain English and it queries your Claap workspace directly, scoped to the data you can already see. The same setup works in Claude Desktop, Claude web, and Claude Code.
How do I connect Claap to ChatGPT?
Add the Claap MCP endpoint to ChatGPT, then authenticate with OAuth for personal use or a workspace API key for automations. Once connected, ChatGPT can query your calls, deals, contacts, and objections right from the chat — ask a question in plain language and it pulls the answer from your Claap recordings. The same endpoint works across any MCP-compatible client, so your setup carries over if you switch AI tools later.
Which AI tools work with Claap MCP?
Claap MCP works with any MCP-compatible client, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Zed, and n8n. Because it speaks the open Model Context Protocol, new models and clients that adopt MCP get day-one support with no changes on your side. Human users connect over OAuth, while automations and scheduled workflows (n8n, Dust, cron jobs) use a workspace API key scoped to the same permissions.
Is Claap MCP secure?
Yes. Claap MCP is a permissioned window into data you can already access — never a back door. Your AI inherits your existing Claap permissions, so anything hidden from you in Claap (recordings, deals, contacts, companies) stays hidden from your agent. Only recordings indexed in global search are queryable; private spaces stay out. Workspace admins enable Claap MCP per workspace, and every tool call is auditable and ties back to the authenticated user.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
No — Claap MCP is built for GTM teams, not just engineers. If you already use Claude or ChatGPT, setup takes about two minutes: add the endpoint, sign in with OAuth, and start asking questions in plain English. There's no SQL, no exports, and no code required. When you're ready, power users can build automated agents and scheduled workflows on top of the same MCP server.
