It reads and writes only what you could read and write yourself in Claap. ### Scoped to what you see A recording hidden from you in Claap stays hidden from your agent. Same for deals, contacts and companies, and private views stay with their owner and your admins. ### Global search only A recording is reachable when it, or its folder, is open to workspace members and visible in global search. Model Context Protocol: the open standard an AI assistant uses to connect to an outside tool. Claap ships a native MCP connector, so Claude or ChatGPT can read your conversation data without anyone writing a custom integration first. Which plans include MCP and the API? MCP is on every plan, including the free one. Automations through Zapier, Make, n8n and webhooks are on Business and Enterprise, and the Claap API is on Enterprise. Which AI tools does it work with? Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code and n8n are the ones people set up most often, and any MCP-compatible client works the same way, Dust and Notion AI included. In ChatGPT, the connector runs through Developer mode, which is still in beta. How long does it take to set up? Four steps. Add the Claap MCP endpoint to your client, sign in with OAuth or a workspace API key, let the client register the toolset, then ask a question in plain language. Can it write to Claap, or only read? Both. It reads your calls, transcripts, emails and CRM data, and it can write: create views and AI fields, update deals, create or update contacts, set up automations. Every write runs as you, under your permissions. Nothing can be deleted through MCP. Can it see recordings I cannot?
